Hobbies:
The Society for Creative Anachronism
This is a not-for-profit educational organization that recreates life in the Middle Ages. In Europe. Or,
life as it should have been (i.e., running water, no plague, etc.).

Nervousness.org
This is what I do with what little free time I have. Trading ATCs, participating in LMAOs, and sending Naked Mail.
Don't know what these things are? Go to the website and check it out!

Mail Au Naturale
A naked mail site. Lots of good pictures. If you're curious about naked mail, it's easier to see it here
than to hunt around on Nervousness for it.

weavershand
Information and resources for tablet weaving and more!

The Warp Weighted Loom Yahoo Group
The Textile Arts Construction Interest Group
The North Alabama Weight Loss Challenge Yahoo Group
These are the three groups I moderate on Yahoo.

Interesting and informative:
The Urban Legends Reference Pages
Don't send out a mass emailing about a virus or how to win $100 from Bill gates or why you should boycott someone without
checking it out here first. Except Nestle. You should boycott Nestle. Anyhow, there's lots of interesting
reading here.

Free the West Memphis Three!
Or at least give them a fair trial.

Ghost Town
A motorcycle ride through now-deserted Chernobyl and the surrounding area. Creepy...

The Tulsa Race Riot of 1921
I'm not done reading about this, but I had a friend tell me the story. I had no idea.

For fun:
The summer of the Jeopardy Guy (ESPN article)
Joe and I are mesmerized. It started as an offhand comment - "hey, this guy's won five days in a row" - and turned
into an obsession. "Did he win today?" Well, of course he did. This article sums it up pretty well, except
we like the guy.

Ink Link
A Win, Lose, or Draw type game that you play with others online. You have to hit a room where people don't cheat
and write the word - usually in the expert rooms. There, the people have played so much they know all the words, but
it's still fun.

Parenting:
Parents Place Message Boards
Parents Place Breastfeeding Boards
Parents Place Attachment Parenting Boards
The Parents Place message boards on iVillage are great! You can find information on all sorts of parenting topics.
If the info isn't there, you can post a question and get answers from experts and parents who have been there. A wonderful
resource.

La Leche League International
The place for information or help with breastfeeding. You can find a lactation consultant near you!

Attachment Parenting International
Joe and I were doing this before we knew it had a name. This just makes sense to us. It's nice to know other
people feel the same way. For a quick summary, click on "AP Info" at the top and then "8 Ideals for Infants" on the
sidebar.

I don't think this counts as babywearing - Elyssa with Sebastian.
